Seasonal Cleanup

Maintenance from Landscape Technologies • Boise, Idaho

Summer cleanup is arguably the most important. We wait until after the spring growth flush finishes, usually around the 4th of July, so plants have had a chance to fill out before we cut anything back. Pruning too early can stunt or kill them. We trim and prune everything, pull visible weeds, clean out the beds, and haul all the debris off-site. Fall is similar but adds leaf pickup with the final mow, cutting back ornamental grasses, and pruning things like hydrangeas that we leave alone in summer. Weather permitting, we can do cleanups almost year-round.

Most properties need two or three cleanups a year. We reach out when it’s time to schedule so you don’t have to keep track of it. Spring cleanups are less common but we do them for new clients or yards that didn’t get any fall or winter attention. All we ask is that the yard is picked up before we arrive, especially after pets, and that gates and access points are clear so we can get to work.
